HELP...CDRW will not recognize PS2 games

Has anyone come across this problem. My burner will not recognize PS2 games. If I try to copy the CD, the program asks that I place a disk in the drive. I have tried to burn in Nero and in Clone CD with the same response.

uhm.. you do realize that most ps2 games are on DVD and can only be read in a dvdrom?
