age of Conq's has a pesky patch

ok every1....here is 'the file' ;D ....but would some 1 plz help me get the official patch to work......i cannot get the registry fixer (comes with file) to work on my install!
it should make the patch accept my game
do i need to edit my registry???......i need some input plz
