Can't Get Any Alice Patches to Work

I have a non-perfect back-up of American McGee's Alice that I would like to use insted of the original, but I can't seem to get any of the No-CD Fixes to work... It's the US version, and I've started to wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I'm running Win2k... Also, when you copy of the contents of the CD to the HD, should you overwrite the files/folders already there?

Get unsafedisc and make ur own...its easy to use and it werked 4 me...................be carful when u overwrite a folder...insted take whats INSIDE it [off the cd] and add that to the EXISTING folder on the HD
