CD lable

These boards have been really helpful this last week or so and I've met with a far amount of back up success all due to the advice on these pages but could somebody please tell me what "make sure you lable the CD with its original lable means"

Hi! If you start a new copy (you know; File-menu, selecting 'new'?) with Nero or some other prg. then that cd you burn will be called 'new', and with other prg. your cd will have its name generated by the date and time of the day etc.
Therefor it might be imperative that you rename the copy so that its LABEL will have the same
as your original.

Before! Afterwards it's kinda too late, you know, since you cannot rename a
CD that has been fixed.
