Sims Copy Woes

I am having such a problem with the crack for the sims. I have wasted about 8 cdrs trying to copy it.

I have a sony cdrom that is not compatible with the clone cd program.

I am using Adaptec Easy CD creator 4

So here is what I did. First I put the original CD in my drive and opend the files. I hit CTRL A to select all files, then I mad a new directory called temp where I pasted the files.

I then copie all the files from the patch into the temp directory. I clicked on the patch program- then I extracted the files.

After that I ran the patch program. A DOS window opened. I waited 30 seconds and then I was told the disc was patched.

Well...... I went to try the CD and it did not work. The main window popped up and it asked for me to insert the CD which was already in my drive. Or in anothe instnace it said data file not found.

THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY. HEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!!!
