Woah every time i come here your asking some question, how many games to you have? I copied Crimson Skies use fast error skip when reading. Write using default settings (the last to boxes at the bottom). Its protected with Safedisk.

Packer i thought this info may also help you out.

First go to CD media world, on the left side there is a menu look for a link CD Protections and read up on the different protections there are, also click on CD/DVD Utilities and download some of the Protection Detection Programs, these make it easy to find out the different protections games use. The most common protection are Safedisk 1, Safedisk 2, Securerom 1 and 2 and dummy files, Now download Nero burning rom, BlindWrite Suite, Deamon Tools and most importantly CloneCD. BlindWrite Suite and CloneCD only work is your CD-Writer is supported so do some test burns to see if they work. Nero can't really copy games but you need it if you want to patch a game instead. Daemon tools is not a program to copy games but is for running game images you made using Clone CD and other programs it makes a virtual cd rom drive on your system. An image is a big file around 700 MB's, it is usefull to run the image using Daemon to test the image to see if it works. If it does then burn it to cd. To learn how to use the programs read the readme files and help files CAREFULLY. Patches are so games can be played without the CD or to make imperfect copies. You can make perfect copies of most games using Clone CD and Blindwrite. REMEMBER these programs have to support your CD-Writer to work. Hope this helps.

Raks55 thanks for all your help!!

the thing is i was looking for an update of a game at GCW and i came a cross the cdr utility and i had just got a cd-rw and i found out that you can back up your own games so that is why i have so many questions in such a shortime. Oh did you see the RAVES won the SUPERBOWL. i think that is so cool, i don't know a lot about american football but i do watch it, we don't play it in our country!!!!

I have a bout 20 games. I only back up the ones that i like and play the most, such as

Crimson Skies
Madden 2001
Delta Force LW
Quake 3
Unreal tournament
NHL 2000
Shadow Man
The Sims
Need for speed 5
Driver

Some of them i hAVEN't backed up yet but their turn will come when i get blANK cdrs . also blank cdrs are quite expensive and so i can't just go and burn back ups till one works, and that is also why i ask before i burn so that i wont' wast a CDR.
