WHat is fixed EXE?

I have dflw and backed it up but it won't run but i thought that if i get a fixxed exe and install it , the game will run with the cd even though i don not have a full installation?

Fixed exe are exe's that have been modifed so they remove any protection check. I think you have to drag and drop the whole cd to the hard drive then replace the exe with the fixed exe then burn the game back to cdr with the same label as the orignal. You can also get NO CD exe's which lets you play with out the cd. Remember if you do this then you can no longer patch the game when a offical patch comes outs. If you want to patch it, then you have to get the exe from the orignal put it back then patch the game then downlaod another exe. hope this helps.
