HELP WITH SIMS BURNING!!!

i have a new creative labs cd writer.
im trying to copy the sims. i only have one drive does that mean i have to read from image file 1st and THEN write from image file?
ive downloaded cd clone, and set all configurations including fast error skip and it wont seem to burn for me. i looked at the log and all it showed were errors in numerous sectors and it told me if i didnt want to see these errors anymore. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME???
