X-Tension v2.0 crack?

Have any of the hardcore crackers managed to break the protection on X-tension v.2 from Egosoft?

I think the part CD-check/part exe-mod-check is giving most of them gray hairs.

Have anyone heard about a succesful crack?

Hehe...yes it is apparently *VERY* hard to crack this baby successfully. Even if you get the game to start up without CD, as soon as you dock at a station, it'll say something like "cd verification failed, blowing up your ship now!"....and if you get past that there's even more creative protection where the ship you're flying will turn and attack police and friendly forces in the area, makeing you dead meat very quickly. (you won't be able to use the controls...it locks you out so you just sit back and watch a phantom pilot control your ship). There's also some other interesting checks where it reduces your money to 0 every 10 mins....man those egosoft guys went all out to make the game uncrackable....Even the cracks out right now suffer from falling into some of these traps, although i think it's just altering factory parameters.
