I don't think any CD-Writer can burn a Securom or Safedisc2-protected game with CloneCD so it works. If u need cracks or fixed exe, go into www.megagames.com. I tried to copy RA2 and Diablo2 with CloneCD, but it didn't work. I downloaded a fixed exe, then it worked.

Of course Trojin...My old HP 9100i I would love to upgrade it to a 12X 9500 series but they are not fully compatible..I guess I'm stuck with my little 'ol 8X'r.. But why should I complain..there isn't a game available that I can't "Back-up". You can pick one up for under $149.00 now since it has 2 revisions beyond it. Check out www.pricewatch.com

ICQ me or email me at your convenience

Can someone tell a burner that is fully compatible with "CLONE CD" and has burnt such game

Hi,

I can burn with CloneCD many of games without using a patch or something! Get CloneCD Database!

I´m using TEAC 58S and it also works with the new one from Plextor 12x - 6x - 32x!

Can someone tell a burner that is fully compatible with "CLONE CD" and has burnt such game

Hey Guy, the burner I'm using is Imation SCSI drive. But I use my Creative DVD 12X to read the CD because all SCSI drives are not compatible. I recommend getting any HP burner they are the best ones out there. Me and my friends use use these drives with CloneCD (with all the tabs unchecked) and made working backups of Alice,Gunman Chronicles,Red Alert 2,Hitman,Giants,No One Lives Forever,The Sims,Star Trek Elite Force,Diablo2.

I copied the sims and diablo 2 with a plextor 8432 and clone cd.
It can also copy safe disk 2 game but them only works in the cd burner not in my cd reader.
And the best. It´s a very very good cd burner. If you can afford one get one.

Plextor makes the BEST cd-rw drive on the market. HP is good too but you can't beat Plextor. If you have the money.

Can someone tell a burner that is fully compatible with "CLONE CD" and has burnt such game

I have a TDK Velocd 12-10-32 which is pretty new and I use CloneCD 2.8.3.1.

I have succesfully copied RA2, Hitman and I believe Counterstrike(One of the HL games had protection, just don't remember which one). I haven't had any problem disks yet. I can tell you that CloneCD did not work before I registered it for some reason, but it is supported and works great now! It takes about 50 minutes to read through a SafeDisc2 CD and about 5 minutes to copy it. I highly recommend this burner. It also has the latest tech so you can surf or do other things while you copy without any problems. I haven't even had to change any settings on CloneCD to burn anything yet. Just used to defaults. I had to overburn RA2 which worked out great since I was out of 80 minute CD's. Funny thing is, the CD writer had a problem playing the original CD but has no problems playing the copy!
