[Suggestion] Rule 3 has to go...
I'll keep this brief. IMO Rule 3 has to go. Otherwise, you might as well close this subforum down entirely. 99% of PC games are currently released exclusively through digital distribution platforms. Even their physical releases, which are few and far between (primarily AAA ones) often don't contain the entirety of game data, and sometimes just the required digital distribution storefront's client installer. Quite simply put, it's IMO a dead, outdated rule, a relic of times past, and thus it really should be gone.
At the same time, the list of digital distribution games, which is below the ruleset, not only outdated, should go as well, because it's specifically tied to the outdated rule. Thank you for your patience. Just food for thought. If you do agree with me that this rule must go, then you might as well expunge this post here. |

(Rule #3 starts with: "Changes to this rule are being discussed."
Apparently, the discussion stopped before we would recognize the trend of game distribution becoming online downloads. So, let's continue the discussion.)Yeah, there's not much point in that rule or list anymore.
