Not quite sure what to suggest, but I had some problems until the other day....

This is what I did - hope it helps...

1: I tried the version from this site - but for me it didnt work.
2: I used unSafeDisc on the Living Large/Living It Up files.
3: I then used CloneCD to *cough* back-up *cough* the original.

Prior to this, I also used CloneCD to back-up the original Sims game.

From here I installed the original game from the back-up CD, and left the files as they were.

Next I used the Living Large/Living It Up CD to upgrade/update etc, finally, I replaced the 'Sims.exe' with the one created by unSafeDisc.

Tested it, and it all worked fine....

Tis a miracle I tell you...a miracle

Hope this helps as I'm not quite sure what is causing your error etc...

Nope...didn't work...very weird. I think I may need to alter the
install.exe /setup.exe file....doesn't seem to asign an actual
drive and/or folder to install the program to. Is there a way
to alter the .exe file...of is there one already altered ???
Thanks in advance.
