Which Mod chip for US PS2 NTSC??

I currently have a Neokey for my PS2, but I have just ordered a DVD burner (Panasonic A03), and after much reading I think I need a different mod chip.
I have it narrowed down to 3 choices (1) Neo 2.2 (2) Neo 2.5 (3) Messiah

Do I have the right ones selected? With all your guys more experience than me, which one should I get, or is there a better one?
