Question Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor UA + [5xDVD9]

Conversion/Graphic Arts: REV0 / Setup Script: yener90
Special Thanks:
- yener90 & Fabioddq for compression method

- Compatible with:
- Steam

- Regkeys:

-None

- Supports:

Code:
English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Hungarian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Chinese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean
- Version Information:

For Game Only:
- Setup: V1.00
- Compression: V1.00

- Incoming Updates

I am NOT going to do a conversion for ULTRA HD pack bla bla. The difference is negligible and you need a GPU which has 5GB+ VRAM to process uncompressed console portover data, so it will be useless to make.

Same goes for DVD5 version, it simply does not worth it, more DVD5s to burn means more chances that DVDs will be busted due to usage.

-V1.10 (After 1079 downloads):

Conversion is compatible with all DLCs

-V1.21

New OST
Couple of minor fixes

- Installation Time

-10 minutes for compression, -m0 was used.

- Instructions:

1. Install the game. Apply NO-CD if necessary.

2. Move _CommonRedist folder from game's installed directory to MORDOR_1

3. Download attachmentS (3 parts) Open compressor.bat and point your game installation

After compression you will have 7 data.cab file two in first and third folders, one for the rest.

4. You can put any extra stuff such as OST, artwork, and other stuff in last folder.

5. Then burn folder contents to DVDs with same folder names.

6. Test the conversion.

Added CIUV2_2038.2017 UltraArc version for the GOTY users.

I tried srep results were not good enough to justify time spent. It could be important in one giant archive but i have doubts regarding the results on multiple cab files .

If you can tell me the location of those arch files i can add them in setup

There's nothing wrong with sizes, this conversion is for DVD9s not DVD5s.

Update V1.10:

- Conversion is compatible with all current and future DLCs.

Well, you won't see it from me. There are 2-3 files which are bigger than DVD5, which makes conversion difficult. They can be split into 2 files but those must be placed in last dvd so the conversion works. And you can not put 3 2GB file in a 4.7GB DVD.

It can be done by using older version of Script but i am not working with older scrpits.

Tl;dr - No DVD5 from REV0

PS: You should adapt DVD9. Most of the next-gen games will come with 64bit exes and much bigger sizes, DVD5 is becoming obsolete.

I think the same, and (i can speak only for me) i don't burn any game i find in the internet to dvd9's (still expensive here), nor dvd5's (cheap as hell). Best examples are steam games around 4GB. Those games i d/l in less than 30 minutes. I only use DVD9 for games which has more than 30GB (this game here for example). All others, especially the games which are highly compressable (RTW2 for example) i use dvd5 if the number of dvd's are not more than 5. So, > 5 = DVD9.

Same here. On the other hand, i am just buying extra storage when it's needed, buying DVD5s in my country is expensive due to the limits of piracy, however external and internal drives are very cheap.

I currently have, 7.5TB internal storage + 3.5 external, so it's pretty much enough for me.

I am still making conversions for you and to keep the game as tidy as possible.

Cheers
