Red Alert 2 crack doesn't work!

I've tried everything I think, I've copied every .mix file from both CD's except the Setup.mix, if that makes any difference? I've tried both versions, 1.0
and 1.01 with their corresponding cracks for each,
but it always asks for the damn CD, I don't get it.
I feel like a dumbass, what am I forgetting to do?
I sure could use step by step instructions for getting this crack to work.

That's because the ra2.exe isn't cracked

Red Alert 2 - got fixed-exe patch to work!!!
Message For those of you who got the fixed-exe patch and had no-cd freedom to work, but your whole army died after a minute into the game this is for you. And others!!!!
1. Copy the .mix files and .dsk files from both cds to the game directory.
2. Click here to download : http://216.162.102.51/gcw/games/files/ra2_exe.zip
3. Use the Game.exe from that download to replace the current one.
4. Click here to download: http://game1.zj.cninfo.net/demo/realali.zip
Note: sometimes you have to press the reload to get to the download for this file.
5. With this download you replace the old Ra2.exe with the new one. DO NOT USE the Game.exe from this file.
6. Copy the two other files(class.nfo, ra2keys folder) onto the game directory. I REPEAT- DO NOT USE THE Game.exe from the second download.
ENJOY NOT HAVING TO USE THE CD!!!
