why so hard to get a little help??????

i have recently posted 2 previous messages and s.o.s' for help but to no avail. I think i am getting a grip on my problem but need to know a few things first. Does the mod chips differ in where they come from? for example i got my mod chips for the u.k. about 2 years ago. it's been installed on my system and i have not had problems making backups of my games and playing them until recently when i got nfl gday 2002 and ncaa gbreaker 2001. neither of these games will play on my system bcuz of the mod chip installed.

i have read the instructions on how to patch the .bin file that i imaged using cdrwin, but nothing seems to work. should i use pal4u or ppf patch engine to patch the bin file. and also should i even patch the original bin file with the corresponding patch for the particular game located in the archives.

any, and i mean any help would be greatly appreciated. tks very much in advance

try downloading & burning the Importplayer from psxcopyworld. This has an option to disable the checks.Your chip, being 2 years old, probably doesn't have a stealth mode to bypass the modchip checks. If your'e talking about the patches off psxcopyworld they are only ntsc-pal patches & won't make a difference.

Hope this helps.

The reason you have just received one reply to your help request is that this board is so so so slowww and it is also a PILE OF CRAP there are much better PSX boards out there i`v been to one or two left posts and got replies straight away when i find good ones i will post them

do you know how many times topic's have been repeated? Every day I come and check this site out and every day its the same threads just posted by someone different, apparently most, not all, newby's just post instead of search the board to find and answer.

also, ###ne is fading, as well as Dreamcast and 64, a lot of gamers are moving on to the next generation of systems and leaving the old ones behind. A lot of Dreamcast boards are gone and more disappear everyday 64 is dead and I'm sure Playstaton will follow suit before long.

Wildthing gave some good advise and i also agree with kendomen. This question and others like it have been asked about a thousand times, I am not trying to be mean or a asshole but this should be common knowledge by now. use of the search engine will answer most question without posting....Also bumlove_extreme, if this forum sux so bad then why are you here??
