Help with Metal Gear Solid

Okay, I finally made a backup of MGS for PSX and i am unable to load Disk 2 after it says "insert Disk 2??" I know it works because i loaded it like i would with Disk 1. Can anyone help me out??

I've made successful copies of the UK PAL version with no probs. I can only assume that there is a problem with the copy (or original) of Disc 2. I would say the best thing to do is try copying it again, or get hold of as clean a copy of disc 2 as you can get.

are you using a plug-in mod chip or x-changer boot disc or have you got a fitted mod chip

I have a Plug-mod that goes into the back of my PSX, but i have a backup copy of Final Fantasy IX and I beat it. I switched disks and everything and it worked great, no problems.

theres your problem you have something holding down the door switch so the door doesn't no its been opened
