Back up help please

I am using a Traxdata CD RW and either Nero Burning or Clone CD. I am trying to back up my PSX games. I am a newbie. I have a Mod chipped PSX1.

I am trying to back up TOCA World touring cars (1 of many i am trying to do). I read the disc to image file. then i downloaded a patch from megagames. I used PPF O MATIC to apply the patch and then burned onto a CD.

When i tried the game i got the opening screen from BAD then the game did not load.

Has anybody here sucessfully applied a patch for TOCA and if so could they tell me what the correct procedure is.

If you got the Bad title screen the patch was applied, the problem has to be in how you burned it. Make sure that it's read and wrote in RAW mode with no error correction and you might try burning at a slower speed.

you say you got nero & cd clone so what software did you use to make the bin & cue file so you would patch it with ppf-o-matic
