memory card!!!!!!!!

DO ps1 memory cards work on ps2, cuz i tried saving an ATV offroad flury game and it says no memory card inserted in slot one, i can see whats on the memory card when i ####tup the ps2 n browse to it, but when i try savin it dont work, its a free block that i try savin on n i formatted it. so can anyone help??

You can use a PSX1 memory card to save a PSX1 game.
To save a PS2 game you MUST use a PS2 memory card.
