MODCHIP installed, tray won't open

FYI,

I installed my MODCHIP today and the Playstation 2 seems to run OK but the tray will not open. The Blue light comes on and seems to stay on. Can anyone recall a problem like this and offer any suggestions?

Thanks Charlie,

I should have throught to do a search before asking. I did have solder between joints 2 & 3 (5 & 6 on some other diagrams). I cleaned it up, re-soldered and it is working.
