NTSC to PAL problem

I got a little nasty problem. I have a NTSC/PAL multiselect widescreen tv set and a PS2. Its chipped (Neokey) and I use the Action Replay 2 (v1.6) for my backups. The psx backups I use (PAL and NTSC) are running just fine without any problems. If I run a PS2 NTSC backup the screen just turns into black & white like it can't handle the NTSC input! I tried patching some backups with a NTSC->PAL patch but it does not help. Do I need a special RGB SCART cable or something? Any help would be great!

thanx in advance!

For info: I got a V4 PS2 (PAL) with AR2 v1.6.

Be sure that your PS2 is configured to RGB output, ´cause it doesn´t matter if the game is PAL or NTSC if you use RGB!
Also be sure that your TV is set to RGB input on SCART ... and you must use an PS2 RGB cable, the standard cable won´t work I believe ...
