PS2 Cant Burn

Okay,
I have a ps2 and bought a mod chip from gamegizmo.com and had it installed.
Ive used cd clone an cdrwin and it says please insert a ps2 formatted disc.Am I doing something wrong,Do I need a patch for all games.Please help.
Does anyone have a mod chip from gamegizmo.com if so does it work?

Do you have a gameshark?? or Ar2 to boot the PS2 backups??

go to www.playstationmods.com or similar. there you can get the aghhh cant remember exact name but basically it is a usb radio & comes with a bootCD which is (apparently) better than the action replay

go to that web site big mike is talking about ..... its called XtremeFM USB radio........

and .... go back to the website where you bought the mod chip and read it properly..... its should say what else the mod chip needs to operate.

I am new to this PS2 backup thing, I have a playstation and have made many backups of my games with that machine, I am trying to find out how to backup my ps2 games, and I read and one thing tells me to go somewhere and get a mod chip, another says to go elsewhere and get a mod chip... I am confused.. hehe... You seem to have answered a lot of peoples questions, could you by chance tell me what I need to do to start making backups. I have a plextor 8/20 scsi cdr, which is compatible with clonecd, but that is about all i know... I just don't know what to do... I have read that you need patches, and that you don't need patches.. and this and that... could you help me out.. and email me at [email protected] it would be a ton of help, and kinda explain step by step what I need to do...

Where is the best place to get a mod chip? Are there any good places in Ontairo, Canada?, and what is the price range for a good chip? Thanks
