silent hill 2's dvdr for ps2 jap 15000

I have japanese ps2 model 15000. I got a chip inside as well but I don't know what it is. I can play cdr with utility and swap trick. Also, I can play dvdr with one swap with dead or alive hard core. But I found that silent hill 2 dvdr did not work. Anyone know why? What should I do?

the reason is that the TOC( table of contents) for the original boot dvd must be bigger than the TOC for the dvd-r.

use devil may cry demo, $2 at funcoland / gamestop

4.37 GB for this game, a little bigger than the full release. why i don't know.

I was looking at this yesterday and didnm't reply becasue there was something else nagging me about Silent Hill 2.

On the face of it, the TOC problem looks favourite. It has a very large TOC and itr varies between region (you didn't specify which region SH2 you've got) and I reckon that we're down to the last digit of TOC size.

Silent Hill 2 PAL is one of those games that doesn't boot as an original with certain versions of the OrigaChip on JAP PS2s and a few days ago I was browsing sites with Patches and came across a wadge for Silent Hill 2. Unfortunately (and uncharacteristically) I didn't bookmark the site. So it's still nagging at me.
