Need for Speed Shift-Can't quit running game!

Hi,

maybe some of you have already the same problem and can help me please.

When i want to quit a runnig race it doesn't work. I only have the possibility ofor 2 Options. Either Display or Audio.
I can start Taskmanager through "CTRL Left"+"ALT GR"+"Delete"

but i have no time to quit the task or process. The Screen switches immediatly back to the game screen.

Only to reset my PC helps then.

Anyone have a resolve?

Sure u have time, make it right, go task manager, and/or hit ctrl+esc, so that you see mouse on desktop..

Hit esc in game and you've no quit option!? weird.

You could also just Alt + Tab back to your desk top. Then when you want quit the game with TM. Also at work or something like that have a speadsheet open and minimized and Alt Tab to it.

Hey again I was looking up a different issue at the EA site and found the answer to your question. Here it is:

The first race you engage in after starting Need for Speed SHIFT is designed so that you can not quit until after you have completed the race. This is by design, as the first race is used to setup the game skill level for all following races.

Once you've completed the opening time qualifier and the first race that follows, you will have the option in subsequent races to quit the game at any point during play.

I hope it helps
Cheers
Dirty
