us psx game patch help!!

i need help , dont know which type of patch to use for original usa psx games as they are all in black and white (how annoying!!) i thought it was the ntsc - pal patch/selector but it doesnt seem to work.

Yeah. It appears black and white on a pal (euro) tv because the games are designed to use ntsc not pal. An ntsc to pal selector should fix it, although I've never used one. If this doesn't work, try using a scart cable adapter for your playstation. If this doesn't work - doh! I don't know.
