clone Cd & LG8080B
I recently downloaded a copy of clone CD to try with a LG8080B burner (so I could make a back up copy of PSX Sydney 2000 australian version.). Initially it appeared to be compatible. I can quick erase CD-RWs. I can burn audio CDs. When I try to burn Sydney 2000, it make a copy of identical size to the original, but the copy fails at the protection stage the same as when I use CDRwin. Is this because the LG8080B is not 100% compatible or is it a problem with setting etc.

you need to download the patch for sydney 2000 as it will not run on its own. as for cdclone and cdrwin they work perfectly well but you need to use cdrwin for sydney 2000 and create a cue sheet. go to psxstuff.co.uk for the patch hope this helps.

In future people like steve00 will be banned from the forum for posting bullshit!
Although Paradox have released patches for Sydney 2000 NONE of them work! They all result in corruption of the graphics! |

Clone cd now uses a compatability mode so it will work with most writers I think they call it SAW-SAO or somthing. What you need is a 100% compatable writer so it works in RAW-DAO mode not many writers do this check out the compatability list on the Elaborate Bytes web site http://www.elaborate-bytes.com They also explain this compatability mode thing
Hope this helps |
