shatami chip for PSone??Please Help

Has anyone tried this Shatami chip yet. I just got one and cant get it to work. I hooked it up right but it wont play back ups and I now have to have the cover up to get it to come on now, then put a original CD in then close the lid to play it, But I still cant play back ups. Anyone have any knowlege on this? and can I fix my PSone back?

This company is now not talking to me . has any else dealt with this company before and does your chip work because I m starting to think I have been Duped.
