I need someone to explain how to patch psx games in detail. Most sites just have the program and no instructions. I need the instructions. So if you can help me out then that would be great. Also how do you use clone cd or blind read\write??

Now open PPF-O-Matic and find ur Image at C:\TEMP\image and press enter, now find ur PPF file that's in C:\TEMP and press enter. When ur done, press APPLY. Now ur game is patched.Close PPF-O-Matic and open CDRWIN again and select Record Disc. Thanks I really like the step by step. I've tried this same way to burn before but it won't work. I've been using Imagination disc's and Sony and Memorex. And they all don't work. But my friend had burned some games for me before on tdk that still works on my PS. |

You might want to try reading and writing at a slower speed. My burner will not make working copies any faster than at 4x writing speed.

MAJOR PATCH HELP---too sonyfreak

my burner is capable of 6x writing speed. I think that the quality of the cd-r's is a factor in how fast I can burn a good working game. I use memorex gold cd-r's and can burn upto 4x speed and get a working copy. Or if I use tdk cd-r's, i can only burn upto 2x speed and get a working copy. anything faster and sometimes the audio is choppy. But, If i am just copying audio or making backup software for the computer, I can burn at 6x speed with no apparent problems. I have heard of other people having to burn at a slower speed to get working copies of psx games. What do you think? I have an internal scsi yamaha 6x 4x 16x cd-wr. zuker |
