Help! I dont need any more coasters!
hi!
ive got an iomega zipcd (which burns ok) and a modchipped 5502 psx. - i backd up tekken 3 in win95 with cdrwin 3.8d, worked fine, although it didnt get to do the... writeout track thing - right at the end. i did this in 1x write max read. Tried the same thing with 007 twine and 4x4 world champ and they didnt boot, or display any data in windows. i wrote these at 4x - 2 questions.. 1. do they use 650mb cds or do i need 700mb ones. 2. what should i do? help greatly appreciated! q3ak. |

A good place for the walkthrough is @ www.backburner.f2s.com
I recommend burning all games for PSX at a max of x2, x1 is better if you seem to be having troubles. Did CDRWIN say it completed successfully? If it did, it did actually write out the leadout track! You could also try DDump with CDRWIN or even PSXcopy 6.2

It wrote out the leadout track? it didnt in tekken 3 backup (which worked read max write 1x- demo version) then i brought the real deal and tried 007 twine and 4x4 challenge and they both completed successfully at 4x, then they didnt work so i tried 007 at 1x and it still didnt work. My settings were raw checked, ignore errors, disable jitter and sub...
if i;ve done these wrong i'll shoot myself coz i wasted 3cds! (1 was a cheap cmc one though) |
