is there a way to burn dvd-rom cds from a dvd-rom drive to a another drive that just burns regular cds.
would it not work since that the burner drive isn't dvd compatable?

NOPE! You need to image a DVD mate and then use software to rip it down, compress and alsorts, too much to go into. And it can take up to 15 hrs to do one, best thing is to buy ex-rental it'll save you alot of time and money!
