Dude, I've had the same problem my self with Gran Turismo 2 and I burned the game on a Sony CD-R so I don't know what the problem is. The weird thing is that a couple of weeks ago I burned Resident Evil 3 on a Kodak Gold CD-R and it has been running perfect, it loads every time. I thought Kodak's were the worst CD-R's to burn with and Sony were best, what the hell is up with that? It's not my burner because I have a really good HP cd-writer and I'm using CDRWIN, so I don't know, maybe my settings on CDRWIN are wrong or something?

Try using Verbatim for backing up PSX games matey, and if you need the proper settings for Cdrwin, mail me and i'll send you them. Just ask "Can I have the settings for Cdrwin please." Very important that word!
