is pal/ntsc and trainer patches both possible?

Howdy
I've tried to patch pal/ntsc fix and trainer fix on Metal Gear solid, but all I've ended up with is only the trainer fix.
Is there a way to get both fixes to work at the same time, they work fine each of them but not on the same cd?
