I need Steps to create image with this game

Battlefield 2142

Anyone know user-friendly steps to remove the latest securom and SafeDisc and create a large image/ mini image ( I dont care as long as I can run without cd)

I have tried nearly everything.

My pc dvd is not scratched but it keeps asking me to insert the the cd???????
Haven't encountered this problem till recently. I even reformated my computer which worked successfully for a few days then back to the same problem. This is why I am looking for an image.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a possibility that it may have been something you have installed that is playing havoc with the protection.

Would be the logical choice if after reinstall of OS it worked fine. Think of what kind of application/s you have installed since it worked to when it didnt again. Remove each to see which is the culprit.

Because if the original disc isnt working an image wont work either. Remember same protection looking both cases.

sorry for posting in two places. I guess my final question is this can I use GCW image thing without punkbuster kicking me? Because I have tried it and it works but I am worried.

Thanks

If punkbuster gets fooled sure.

Technically your not doing anything bad as such, if one day it fails it fails to bypass the protection your account should be safe. Punkbuster is really to stop hacks and cheats.

cool breeze, so I can at least rely on this for the time being. I guess I'm not in a rush to reformat my computer once again
