PS2 Mod Chip

Has anybody chipped a PS2 in the UK and does it work if so were can I get a chip for a PS2

As far as I know, you can only get a mod chip for the original japanese version....but I could be mistaken...good luck.

www.modchip.com does not have an american mod chip,i ordered 3 chips that were supposed to be for the amer PS2 but when i got them they were for the jap unit. THEY lie!

Yeah no where on there site do yhey say that it is for the Jap version. I emailed them and they will not respond to cancel the one that I ordered and they will not reply. Heard they can be impossible to get info from once you order.
