got the same problem with halo2 xp :S any suggestions.

Does it occur with or without a crack or both? What operating system are you using; are you sure these games are supposed to work in non-Vista Windowses?

they can be run under win xp

for halo2
what u need is the program WoWloader (windows on windows loader)
how to use that programm is explained in the readmefile
u can get it at the halo2v crack section of gcw

for shadowrun
razor released a crack in the shadowrun section..dont know if its working ^^

OS-limited games sucks^^ As long as they don´t use dx10 I hope all of them will fall and be "xp-ed" ;-D

If you are using the Razor-crack, there is one .DLL file you need to delete (can't remember the name, read the .nfo) otherwise you will receive this error message.

i have the same problem like schlaufer which dll i need to delete plzz could y tell me??i would be gratefull

Read the .nfo file that comes with the crack with notepad.

The file you need to delete is "srsw_shadowrun.dll"

Ok, so I got my SR original disc and the XP patch; however, I still can't install ShadowRun on XP because it keeps saying I got the wrong OS and it aborts...

there aren't any instructiong on the nfo or on any message boards for that effect, so can anyone please tell me how you got thru this barrier?

I'm thinking of changing the XP registry that has the OS version number (if I can figure out which one that is) which Shadowrun checks and perhaps I can fool the install to go thru, but I'm still trying to figure it out...

Any help anyone??
