CD Copies

I have a HP2100 CD Burner, and looking through the list of compatible Burners with CloneCD, the 2100 should work. However, Im getting a error saying that it isnt compatible. Is there something im doing wrong?

On the list of compatible CloneCD writers the HP 2100 isn't listed. So it may well not be compatible.

Thanks for your reply Charlie, but I realise I made a typo with my version of CD Burner. I actually have a HP9100. I saw it on the list of compatable copiers, so can you explain why CloneCd doesnt recognise it? Thanks for your help.

If it's the 9100b or 9100c then it's no good for protected games. What was the error message? Was Read sub-channel data greyed out?

The copier I have says "HP CD copier 9100 Series".
Yes I did grey out the Read Sub Channel Box.
The error that im seeing is "Copier not compatable with CloneCD"
Thanks for your help.

The CCD site offers the following advice that I urge you to follow:

My CD-Rom or CD-Writer does not work with CloneCD! CloneCD tells me, it is "not compatible"!

Most CD-ROMs and CD-Writers work fine with CloneCD. If you get a message that your CD-ROM is not compatible, please disable reading of Subchannel Data. Please make sure, that you use up-to-date drivers for your SCSI controller or the IDE controller on your motherboard. It is a good idea to use the IDE drivers that came with your operating system, because ALI, VIA or INTEL IDE drivers often cause problems. Please tell us, which device you are using. Use the "Send Email about a Device" form to send us an E-Mail. Probably we can support the device better in a future release.
