hey guy tks for the reply you too dall and dust.
hey charlie man that must be a great chip how much easier is it than the neo 2.2 and 2.5 on dvd r swaps is it as easy as messiah or neo 4.
can you explain what you don't have to do since i will be having this neo 2.5 installed also congrats on getting the pioneer worknig and glad i could help on getting you the primo that is how its supposed to work everyone working together also saw your post on lending someone the original we5 what type of game is that.

Hi Kid

Yes, it's the easiest process of all. You just boot with any large TOC DVD original; the tray ejects automatically; you have 4 secs to put the DVD-R in and the DVD-R boots.

The problem for you is that it needs the original modchip.com beta; modchip.com final version uses AR2 and so it would have to be the same process as for NEO2.2 and NEO2.5. Don't worry about it - you'll still be able to boot DVD-Rs.

The "good news" is that if you can get hold of one of those chips, it works in parallel with pther modchips and doesn't disturb them - at least that's true for the OrigaChip that I use in my JAP PS2. So I get all the advantages of being able to play DVD import originals whilst having thew simplest possible swap method for the DVD-Rs. And THANKS!!!! TAHNKS!!!!

WE5 is Winning Eleven 5, Soccer. I'm lending it to DAL to test Cheesy's method for booting import originals with NEO2.2/2.5.

Yeah if u could post that WE5 to me that would be great ill give it a go and post my findings. Just got the PAL version of WE5 which came out yesterday even better then the JAP one we got months ago.
