I Need Help!

Hello I want to know if you can apply patches for protected psx games to NERO images. Because I have used CDRWIN and followed all the steps of making a image file and applyed the patches to them but it does not work do any of these patches work and if so do they work with NERO image files, because I like NERO alot better then CDRWIN. So I would really appreciate help from anyone really experienced with this. Thanks
