USBMOD problems

I have just installed a USBMOD in my PS2. I only had to solder one wire and the chip is external. I have just tried to play a ###ne backup on it and the screen saying 'browser' and 'system configuration' is coming up and the game is not loading. I have tried many games and the same problem. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem is?

Thank You.

Be sure the usb modchip is pluged into the top usb port on the ps2. Turn the modchip on and insert the psx backup. As soon as the tray closes hit reset and the game should load. If it doesnt load and you are sure the backup is of good quality then i would say the jumper wire is not soldered correctly and you should retrace the install procedure.
