PSX Boot Sector Question....

Sorry, I'm sure this has been asked b4 but I've searched for the answer and not found it....

Can you tell me or point me to info regarding the PSX boot sector and why it can't be duplicated by software/burner? Seems like it should be possible to reproduce a PSX cd exactly unless the garbage info on the PSX is located on an unburnable part of the CD-R. Is this the case? Thanks.

PSX Boot Sector Question....[followup ??]

Thanks for the reply.

Is there someplace I can read up on the technical specifics of this? Would it be possible to modify the firmware of a burner to access the boot area? or is it a limit of the CD-R writeable area? Thanks again.
