I use the first Gamecopyworld image and the modified AlkiSecuRom. Then I mount the image with Daemon Tools and start AlkiSecuRom. Then I select the Tomb Raider exe and everything works fine

alki securom wrecked my hd i downloaded it went to run the game with mini image mounted on daemon tools and my pc went to black screen when i ran alkisecurom crashed so i reset it and after that i loaded my pc and it would not let me do anything ie go into my docs my computer control panel etc so i had to format it thanks alot

So Muyfa666 were you able to fix the problem with button presses lagging like 5-10 secs with the method for v1.1? It does it for me, so why aren't more people in here complaining about it? The game is still uplayable for me (v1.1).

The reason I want to play the game with the patch is b/c i'm getting all kind of crazy glitches and stuff. Like towards the beginning of the game with the cutscene at the bridge the guy hair and hands are blue and various other textures not rendering right. My graphics card is a X1900xt. Also saw the same problems (guy with blue hair) on a nVidia 6800 as well. Another possibility is that the game's image file is corrupted.

Anyway. Seems the bad texture renders, artifacting, crazy blue hair on that one guy are common problems after further reading in thre forum. This is one the most unpolished glitchy game releases in recent memory. sheesh

Can anyone confirm that this v1.1 patch addresses any of these issues?

I had a problem yesterday too ^^ I pressed a key (e.g. w to run forward) then I looked at Lara and she moved without doing sth.
It was like automatic gameplay!

Start the v1.1 patched game as described before in this post. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc when the nvidia logo plays (this gets you to the desktop). Ctrl+Alt+Delete to start the task manager. Go to the processes tab and right-click on trl.exe with the mouse. Set the priority to Normal.

Now back to the game and play like a madman.

You will probably have to do this everytime, I don't know how to permanently change priority for a .exe.

The only thing you need is the AlkiSecuROM.rar (and DAEMON Tools 4.03 + GCW mini-image of course). Just mount the mini-Image in DT 4.03, extract the RAR and run AlkiSecuROM.exe. It will ask you for the SecuROM-protected game-exe - so choose the trl.exe and... that's it. The Game should start (hopefully )...

Yeah, it seems as if Tomb Raider Legend is automatically set to run at 'High' priority level.

For people running Alkisecurom, there is no way that I know of to set the priority AND launch the game with Alkisecurom at the same time.

If you want to use the original disc in the drive, try the following (and editing in the directory you installed to:
cmd /c start /Normal "D:\Games\Tomb Raider - Legend\trl.exe"
