PSX to Rom Image

Hey. I'm currently trying to find information and/or software that will show me or tell me how to make a ROM IMAGE from an orignial PSX CD. I don't necessarily want to burn the PSX game to a new CD, just create a Rom image. A few things if those informed could help:

* What software do I need to use?
* What proceedure(s) do I need to perform? (word for word please!)
* What is the file extention of a ROM image? Is its just *.bin, *.img, *.iso? Is that it? will an Emulator (such as ePSXe) now play this game?

Other info:
I'm fairly computer literate, I used to backup my PSX games years ago, but I haven't done it in a long time. I have an NEC burner, so it can handle CD-DA. Much thanks...

massomass.

I suppose we need to use cable to rip an image from a backup, just the same as retail DC. matt951 DC Games 2 28-02-2001 00:24
