Battlefront II- Urgent!

I recently purchased SW: Battlefront II online (from hong kong I believe) and just go it a day ago. Im trying to find a way to get it to work with no-cd's as my computer cd drive has been know to crack discs.

I have Alcholol 120% (1.9.2 (Build 1705)) and made images of all four discs, saved on my harddrive. I installed the game completly with Daemon Tools 4.00 with out any problems. I tried to start the game only to get an "emulation detected error" I went online and found Sr7.stop and used it and got a message " Please put origanal cd in drive D". So I downloaded SFnightmare from Game Copy World. I used it to hide my physical drive and used Alcholol to mount a virtual cd drive. i then mounted BFII_1 image and use Sr7.stop. It came up with another message; "Please enter origanel disc and not a back up." I downloaded a mini from GCW but couldnt get it to work. I've never used a mini before, so would somone mind posting detailed instuctions?

I need some step by step clear instructions on the best way to fix this problem. Would Game Jackel work if I play it with the real cd in?

So in all, three questions:
-How do mini's work?
-How can i get rid of the message?
-Can I use Game Jackel?

Thanks,

EDIT: on http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=73118 it says you need a image with DMP. What is that?

1. Mini images are images that only contain the data needed to fool the protection into leting you play without the original. They are useful for conserving hard drive space.

2. Mount the mini image, all options in daemontools for emulation on (shouldnt need this), use SFNightmare to disable CD drives or w/e (I dont need this on my computer), run Sr7.Stop, set the compability mode of BFII.exe to windows 2000, and then you can play... Also, it might be possible that you downloaded the mini image for the wrong version, so double check that (English, German...)

Battlefront 2 works fine on my computer with:
Mini image Mounted on Daemontools 4

Antiblacklists taken care of since I manually tweaked my registry to deny SC7 admin rights a while ago...

BFII.exe compability set to Windows 2000

3. Maybe yes, maybe no. I never tried it. I will when I need it, but so far I dont, so I wont try it

4. DPM is Data Precision Measuring. It is something you need to get from the original CD when backing it up in order to have a working backup. SC7 checks the DPM of the disc. The DPM is stored in the .MDS file along with some other tidbits about the CD.

Easily reproduced.

Dunno of SFNightmare, I never used it.

The mini image file you need is on Gamecopyworld.

DABHand, I am only answering this so I can quote myself in later threads . Kick in, and tell the guy how to use SFNightmare in detail, so then I can quote you when someone asks

@that one guy: By the way, if you're suspicious that the DVD is not original, I'm sure the publisher would be very happy to get some information about the online shop where you bought it. (E.g. Micro$oft is now giving away free copies of its software if you have a pirated copy and are willing to share information on where you bought it, thinking it was original and it did look like original...)

I agree that buying a game from Hong Kong can be risky but he only thinks (believes) it comes from Hong Kong and also he says it 'does' play from the CD. If it does play from the CD then chances are it is a legit version. Just my thoughts.

Ok, I downloaded all three images from GCW, tried each of them with the latest trail version of Alchocol 120% and daemon tools. It came up with the same error every time. "Please enter CD1." I also used SR7.stop

I switched back to the image I made myself and got the message "Please insert the original disc instead of a backup. See http://www.securom.com/no_orig_found for more details." What am I doing wrong?

I did use Sr7.stop but have no idea what i need SF nightmare to do.
