Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer
Has anyone tried using the the "Call of Duty 2 v1.0 PRIVATE SERVER PATCH " available on GameCopyWorld? No one seems to be able to connect to me. I am not behind a router but I am using Windows Firewall. I added both COD2_SP.exe and CoD2SP_s.exe to the Windows Firewall exception list. Any ideas?

Well it is a private server patch. Normally everybody should apply the patch too connect althought the readme says otherwise!
Please try and post it back too me  Can you give me the IP so I will try too connect to your server?

no, only server needs this fix. You have to go to Favorits, add the new favorite with the ip of the server and then set in the filter options hide modified versions or something to no.

Ok, the server only need this crack!
Maybe you could help me out with this one; My friends try to connect through "console" they type --> connect IP and then they can't get a connection it just keeps counting awaything gamestate! Is this different then making a favorite? Looks the same for me but haven't tried it out yet. I asume you mean by favorites; Pure servers only "NO" ? Hope you can help me out. THANKS! (I'm Dutch sorry for the english writing) (There are some servers in the listing of activision that don't need a CD-key I wonder how they do that. the correct command is /connect Ip address. For example to connect to my server it's /connect 24.200.82.183 but I warn you, my server won't be up all the time.
By the way my friends get the same problem as you described. |

yop i got a similar problems
i patch with call.of.duty.2.multiplayer.private.server.1.0.patc h-icu and when i give my ip to a friends he try to add me on favorite... the game writte ok favorite add but i don't appear in the list ??? does he need to patch too... and why i don't appear in he's list ?? You can bring up the console by typing in ~ at any time.

Why do these forums tolerate the discussion of these cracked servers whose sole purpose is to cater to those who do not have legit cd keys and who have obviously warezed their copies?
