Socom 3 online
Hi
ive got the latest slimline uk/pal Playstation 2 and im after getting usa Socom III to play online if i buy usa Socom III (not a copy) would i be able to get my uk ps2 running online ? I know id need a chip or slide card to get the game to load being a different region to my ps2 but what would i actually need to get the game running online ?

You would be able to boot the game with a mod chip and play it on your console, however going online with it wont work for a few reasons. One being that there is some incompatibility with the bios when you try and play a US online games from out of the country, second even if you could get around this in order to even boot your original US socom you would need a chip or swap disc that the server would catch even if you patched the DNAS. So no your out of luck
