help! i need an avatar!

Could anyone be a bud and give me some good suggestions for setting up my avatar for the 1rst time? are they free?

An Avatar is simply a little picture (that is the correct size according to forum rules) that you have infront of your name.

To set it up, get a good picture that you like... Make a google search on pictures for something you like.
Open the picture with Photoshop or similar more advanced picture editing application. Set the pixels to be 100x100 (maximum here on Fileforums) and then pick "Save for web" (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S in Photoshop) and save it with a good name.

Now press User CP, Edit Avatar and follow the instructions. Reallu simple and totally free....

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 16.0 KB (whichever is smaller).
