Hi,
I've got the original gta sa dvd - and was able to install it and run it for about 2 weeks. It then stopped working, so i uninstalled it and then wasnt able to reinstall it. Reason being either a cyclic redundancy check or a bad ms-dos function call - in any case it couldnt copy accross the data1.cab file.. Its a brand new laptop with nothing like alcohol on it - and the drive in it is a dvd rom/cd burner. Any tips would be fantastic! Cheers |

You can try the DVD in another PC to check if it's the DVD or your LapTop.
(My last brandnew LapTop was also damaged after only three weeks...)

@michaelvaf
Try to copy all files using windows explorer. Sometimes disc can't be installed but you still can copy it. Better use no DVD crack to protect your original disc. |
