BatlleField 2 1.01 Mini Image problem
HI there,
I have updated BF2 to version 1.01 ( I know that EA has recalled this patch due to memory leaks) and I am using the the mini images from Bleh, Skull, and Jont Master with Daemon Tools 3.47 but when I try running BF2, I get a "Cannot locate the Play Disc. CD/DVD Emulation software has been detected. Please disable CD/DVD emulation software and re-start the game." Is anyone else getting this error and know how to fix it? Thanks!

What Burning software? and what does burning software have to do with CD/DVD emulation?

The burning software 'emulates' the protection. Programs like CloneCD and Alcohol 120. That latest update you have installed for BF2 'may' reconize the programs are trying to emulate the protection.

That was it. Uninstalled Alcohol 120 and Clone CD and voila. but now I get a black screen and then it exits to the desktop but I think I've read about that problem somewhere on another thread.
