crystal proccessors? is it soon?
Are we going to see microproccessors released in the forseeable future. From what I can understand they are grown as crystals, diamonds by nature being to hard to manipulate, if the technology is there how long before we see the new P7 or P6. If they are the next generation wouldnt that make all hardware up to now obsolete. The ability to have a microproccessor for each component eg graphics, would revolutionise the industry. I would appreciate any news as I feel splashing out on a new PC now might be a total waste.

We are far away from that time that crystals proccessors will be used for computers.Go and buy a new pc.What do you think that when this time comes you will able to buy such a computer?There will be very expensive my friend.

As faras I have heard Intel are already going into the production stage and most of the big cellular companies have placed orders. The question is when will we see this being incorporated into pc tech.

I think youve been hearing stories for the Cell CPU which is released to networks at the end of the year, then in PS3's.
They are smaller than current CPU's and start from 4Ghz upwards.

thay wil be out befor or after th ps3 but not by much i expect but buy then there will be a new cpu that you will want to wait for if you dont want to play games get a G5 it's a soper coputer apple apple it look's prty and runs well and i havent crashed all the way yet
(game's games when will half life 2 be out for mac sob sob sob
