Recording Streaming Audio to MP3 Player
A talk radio station recently changed formats in my city. I listened to this station all day at work, and everything else on the radio here is crap. There is at least one nationally syndicated show (Don & Mike) that was on this station that streams live over the internet.
I think there is software out there that allows you to record streaming audio (or what I believe are called "podcasts") and take it with you on an MP3 player, but I'm not sure what to use. I do not yet own an MP3 player, but can someone tell me if it is possible to record streaming audio and, if so, what software can I use to record this audio and convert it to an MP3 file? |

You can record radio stations over the internet and get a lot of mp3's this way.
You can use a software like www.stationripper.com which is free and easy to use. Or if you want something more professional and a lot of features, then you can pay a few bucks and get a software like iRadio, Replay Radio, Skado, but my favourite is www.radiotracker.com Your decision :P |
